The website has been compiled using
Microsoft FrontPage 2000 incorporating Active Server Pages to enable automatic
updating of events lists from existing parish databases.
The selection of the web hosting service from Tollon was driven by the need for Microsoft FrontPage 2000 extensions and Active Server Pages capability.

Some years ago the idea of a parish web
site was first investigated by Simon and William Kirby and James Seconde.
More recently the embryo of the website was developed by Jonathan Dodd. Hector Davie of St Ursula's, Berne generously shared his practical experience of establishing parish websites. These ideas were taken on by The Communications Group of the PCC to reach the current state of development. We gratefully acknowledge the contribution of Edward Fellows of St. Alban's Church Litho Unit for making the magazine available in downloadable format.
