CHARITABLE CONCERT FOR UKRAINE - This concert has been organised this in conjunction with The Ukrainian Cultural Association in the UK.


It will take place at 3.00pm on Sunday 23 October in Ruddock Hall at King Edwards' Schools. It will feature several 20-minute recitals by professional performers, including the internationally acclaimed pianist Margaret Fingerhut, herself part Ukrainian. There are also two shorter recitals by the two most musically talented students at the School. The music is classical for solo piano and chamber music. All the performers are giving their performances free of charge, and Ruddock Hall has also been made available free of charge. Accordingly all the proceeds will go for humanitarian relief in Ukraine.

All are welcome to this new series of lectures starting next Friday 9th September at 7pm with Giles Penman (M.Phil, University of Warwick) speaking on "Christianity and Peace: Peace Day 1919 and the Church of England."
