As Marcia is on compassionate leave, I have attached this week's notices.
St George’s joins the whole nation and people throughout the world in praying for our dearly departed Queen and her family. The nation now enters a period of mourning. Church will be open Friday 9th from 9.30am-2.30pm and Saturday 10th from 9.30am-12 noon.A condolence book will be available in church should you wish to write a message in memory of the Queen. The service on Thursday 15th September at 11.30am in the Lady Chapel will be a Requiem Eucharist, commending HM and all the faithful departed to the loving care of God. Out of respect for the Queen and her family, this evening's planned St George's lecture has been postponed with a new date tbc. Please pass this information on to anyone who was planning to attend. Thank you.Sunday's services will continue as usual.
